In all likelihood, yes. But if you eat like crazy you could still gain Weight. Remember Weight gain or loss may not be the best thing you are after. It depends on your body fat percentage. All other things being equal A person who is fit will weigh more than a person who is not fit because muscle weighs more than fat.



Stick with the exercise consistently and eat a balanced diet with protein, carbs and fat. Yes fat is OK if it is in moderation and the right kind. You can also do yourself a lot of good by getting a couple of dumb bell weights to work your arms out for at least part of your walking. Strength train with the dumb bells doing some simple exercises you get by google searching dumb-bell routines.



The walking and minimal strength training will tone your body, build muscle and eliminate fat. All things you want to do.



A great book on the subject is the Zone. Scientifically and clinically researched and proven to improve peoples health. You can get a copy at your local thrift store since the zone diet is no longer trendy but it is still the best IMHO.



To answer how much weight you will lose each week I would have to know, M or F, how tall you are, your body fat percentage and how much you wiegh right now.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.



I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.



It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Don't diet, or deprive yourself. Just make healthier choices (fish, chicken, lean meats, ect.)

Walking will get you in better shape, but you won't necessarily lose weight. I used to weigh 156 pounds. I know weigh 145. It was so hard. I jogged every day, crunches, lunges, lifted weights push ups.

actually brisk walking is REALLY healthy. its better for your joints and brain.



you can most CERTAINLY lose weight just by walking and eating healthily. just move around a lot more too, for example do chores etc around the house. stand up if you are on the computer or watching t.v



you can burn up to an extra 50 calories an hour just by standing!
