If, you're going to use some soap, I would say use liquid soap. But actually you should ask the doctor they have certain types of product they would say use down ther, simply because that is a sensitive area.

Please do not use soap or liquid you used for other parts of your body, especially on the inside of your vagina, and this will cause you discomfort. (like when shampoo get into your eyes!)

What you should do is to look for hygiene wash, available at Boots, Asda and mostly stores that also sell tampon and sanitary pads.

One of the brand I am using is called Lactacyd. It has a douch that will allow you to wash inside your vagina as well as the outside, but I found that it is very hard to find in UK. Fem wash is just ok, can be easily find in Asda.

Please refer to the website given for more details.

The best is just plain warm water with a 'mild' non-perfumed soap. Your health food store will have soaps that have been made with as little chemicals in them as possible, choose one that has hardly or no perfume in them as the perfume tends to dry your skin out, and you don't want that 'down-there'. All the best.

Good question! Homemade soaps on any sensitive skin work better because it's just glycerin, and whatever they added, all you do is ask!

Then, of course the usual stuff....
