How quickly can conception happen? Will plan B still work if sperm and egg meet?

My boyfriend and I had sex today and the condom broke... we didn't realize until after. (Damn you trojan bareskins!) We're both very fertile, both of us have a kid from one-time unprotected sex. I'm on day 16 of my cycle, which means I'm ovulating... and he's well endowed, which means his sperm were pretty much shot right to my cervix upon ejaculation.

We're going to planned parenthood tomorrow afternoon to get emergency contraceptives, but I'm afraid that sperm and egg will meet before then... if that happens, will plan b still work?? I've never had to use it before and I learned about it in health class way back in high school, it's been years....

what are my odds here? I've been pretty nervous all day.

Also, I noticed I was having slight vaginal bleeding, but that could be because we just recently became sexually active and I'm not used to his size (We're talking larger than 10 inches) and he and I REALLY got into it today...

Plan B is supposed to be effective if taken within 72 hours after intercourse. The sooner the better. It is expensive but you might want to keep some around just in case. If you are 17 or over it is non-prescription.

to respond to your significant question, Plan B makes the uterus and uterin lining an undesirable place for implantation to take place, consequently the egg could in simple terms in simple terms shed out with something of the liner rather of implanting itself to quickly exchange into an embryo. It says that it particularly is maximum effectual on the 24 hours by using fact especially circumstances sperm takes longer to interrupt into the egg and thats provided that an egg is even contemporary, think of roughly it, maximum eggs in basic terms final approximately 24 hours. What are the probabilities of that being pregnant happening? Yeah they easily are there yet take aspects into attention.

Plan B has to be taken within 24 hours, preferably within 12 hours, for it to be effective
