That happened to me my very first period as well. Don't worry honey, nothing is wrong with you that is normal for some of us. Next month (or maybe the month after that) you should have a regular flow.

Yup ---- I totally agree ---- it bites to have to endure this every month but grit your teeth, that's the way of life until you hit the "change of life" time.

Don't you have a Mom you can talk to? Or maybe someone at school?

At 11- you're a little young, but not unheard of - and if you are healthy, you will eventually get your period. But-it sounds like this was not it! I think you may have scratched and broken the skin or if you had some pain "down there"- you could have torn your hymen --that would have caused bleeding - if you did, it probably burned when you peed - Sometimes a vaginal infection or yeast infection can cause the itching - it is not a big deal. There are Over the counter creams to stop the itching. When you start your period - it may start out as a brownish or pinkish tinge to the discharge - but within a few hours (or overnight) -it will become bright red and heavy enough that you need a pad for the flow. As it will soak through your clothes. The bleeding will last for about a week. It will taper off to a lighter flow and may become brownish(old blood).

There is nothing to freak about - all this is normal - the best way to deal with it - is to be prepared - keep a sanitary pad or at least a pantyliner with you (in your purse or backpack). If you go to stay overnight - make sure you have a change of underwear and pads, as well. When you get blodd on your clothes - wash them in the sink with COLD water and some soap - and then put in the laundry as usual (this goes for sheets, too) Washing before the blood dries will keep stains from becoming permanent.

If you continue to have itching - tell your mom - chances are she has some Vagisil or Monistat cream for itching - and tell her that you think you may be starting your period as well - she probably thinks you are too young --

Yes it may have been your period. When your just starting you don't fall into a regular schedule. Your first period may last one day, then you may not get it again for 3 or 4 months. And when you do get it again, it could last for 1 day or 10 days. After a year or two of this randomness, your period will finally start to fall into a regular pattern.

Kinda, I guess.

Periods are weird. My best friend gots hers once when she was 9! Then she never got it again until she was 12.

I got mine when I was 11 and I've had my straight for the last 3 years.

But your gonna get eventually, so get use to it.

Tell your mom, it's not big deal

it could be possible. when i had my first period i didnt bleed like at all. but dont be too worried about it!! your becoming a woman! and its something that youll miss dearly if you get pregnant lol. but. 11 is a little early. i suggest talking to your doctor and maybe have them look at it. its also possible that you could have just irritated something down there and you broke the skin and bled a little. just watch out for cramps, bloating, mood changes, changes in your breasts, and anything else that doesnt normally happen with your body. but talk to your doctor hun.:)

I dont think that was your period but it may mean that your getting it very soon...you should discuss this with an experienced adult, if your too shy to speak to your mom, talk to your school nurse

You probably just broke your hymen. It happens to everyone, and at any age. If it's not that, then you got your period (yeah, well... sucks for you). It'll straighten out eventually. Don't worry.

periods are a little different for everyone. i think it probably was your first period. some girl's firsts can be very minor. you will know for sure if it happens again in a month.

it sounds like your starting your period.

its not as bad as it seems, just a bit annoying. as for cramps, take tylonel. get some pads or tampons and have a knoweledgeble female help you out with it.

good luck :)

doesnt sound like it. if it were u'd have more bleeding, not spots of it either, but way more than that. Well if it happens again next month, u'll know for sure. sounds like u were bleeding from the scratching.
