Boil enough water to cover the amount of pasta that you want to cook. Put the pasta in the boiling water and stir it once or twice. Check the pasta every couple of minutes to see if it's done. The pasta is done when it's soft enough to eat (ie - no longer crunchy). When the pasta is done, use a collendar (a strainer) to drain the pasta.

Put water in a cooking pot. Add salt to the water. Add 1 tablespoon full of cooking oil in the water. Bring it to a boil. Add pasta. Cook till it is done. Usually just a few minutes. I have also put pasta into boiling water. Turned the heat off and put a lid on the pan. And let it cook with the heat turned off. Drain the water off and you are done.
