Will she be flat chested for ever?
My daughter is now 17 she is very worried about her chest, the other day we were dress shopping for her year 12 formal and she started crying after trying on a couple of dresses because she is totally flat chested. It doesn't run in the family her sisters and mother (me) are quite large, will she be flat forever? will she ever grow anything? right now she would be classified a 16AAA please help i feel bad for her and her low self esteem over this

She could grow, but really a small chest isn't bad, let her know it doesn't make her unattractive. I have always had a small chest, when I was younger I didn't like it... But really, it has many advantages. They will never sag or get in the way and it's a bit easier to get away with not wearing a bra.

It's really a nice look to, and as another woman with a small chest, I can safely say that plenty of guys find me attractive, and several have said that they like or prefer a small chest. Also many models have very small breasts or are entirely flat-chested. She will likely grow more, most people do. I have grown in my 20s a little. Some people grow more in their 20s.

Women don't stop growing until the age of 21 and in regards to breasts you need to consider that they will grow and change if she has children. This is one of the quirks of genetics. In the meantime reassure her. tell her she is beautiful and lucky. Bigger breasts hit the floor sooner and cause back problems.

If in time she decides she'd like to be bigger thats up to her, but shouldn't be done too young. Implants need to be replaced every ten years and can cause serious complications. Some women are actually allergic to them.

For formal occassions it just means finding a dress that suits her. You could take inspiration from Kiera Knightly. Famously small chested and always looks amazing on the red carpet.

I am 23 now, my breasts didn't grow until I was 19-20. I had to wear training sports bras until then (I don't know what the actual cup size was, but I know it was smaller than an A). Now I got up to an A cup, which is small, but noticeable. Was she underweight during puberty? I have heard that can stunt your development and I know that I was slightly underweight.

I have found that empire waist dresses cut like this on the top look best on me. :

They give an illusion of a curvier figure.

If it helps at all, I am really happy with my body.

The best thing to boost her confidence would be buy those large silicone cups and a bra to match. with the right kind of dress, no one will be able to tell. i am very small in that area too. all my friends have large boobs and i have close to 12AA. it sucks. wish her good luck for me.
