How do I measure my bra size correctly?

I need help figuring out my bra size as I've been having trouble with this for a while. My under bust/band size measures 26 inches and my bust is 28. Am I a 26B? I don't rely on online bra size calculators since I feel those are unreliable and inaccurate and my mum won't let me get my size checked either by a professional either. Also, please don't use the system where you add 5-6 inches to the band size cause it is outdated..
I was following this video to help me find out my size.

I'm 17 btw. :P

Yes, a 26B, although this size will be near impossible to find, so you could also try a 28A, which is essentially the same cup volume as a 26B but on a slightly bigger band. Hope this helps.

You're right about not adding inches! And yes, you would technically be a 26B, but 26-bands are really hard to find - you get them custom made at Ewa Michalak. You could also try a 28A, which is the same cup volume as a 26B, but with a slightly looser band.

You could try:

Good luck xx

Bra vary by brand and style. Go to the store and try some on until you get one that feels good. You will then know what size to buy. Spandex sports bras always made more sense to me.

You have to add to the band size because that's how the system works from something happening in the 1930s or something. Use the online calculator for a good estimate since those calcs do the same thing you do with the measurements, and.if you can't professionally measured, use the online calc for a good estimate and just make sure you try on the bra since they all fit differently

My underbust is 24 and my overbust is 30 and I can fit into 32A's and 32B's; the band is always a little bit loose, but it fits well enough....I'm probably a 30C or something, but that's not worth the trouble trying to find...you're probably a 30A or B
