With my years of tampon use I find Playtex the easiest to use (for me)

The plastic applicator slides much better and the tampon actually spreads wide not long... so you don't feel it.

Start with a regular flow.... the small are easier to get used too.

Make sure you are relaxed when you try to insert it. Take a deep breath. And practice! It will get easier with time. Not long and it will be second nature to you!

Well, I don't know why you get that when you go to the toilet.

But I use a menstrual cup and I find it is far superior to both pads and tampons. The one I use is the Divacup. Of course, it won't be right for you if seeing menstrual blood is gross for you. Check it out online. Also the menstrual_cups livejournal community has loads of information. It's better than the official websites.

Tampons take practice some times. Try different brands and start with the smallest one. Pads are gross... tampons can be annoying too... but they are definately better once you figure out which one is right for you.

uh you poor thing! I didnt wear my first tampon until i was 18! Go to the store and but some KY Lubricating Jelly. Put a small amount on the tampon and it will go in much MUCH easier! and it wont hurt! Also, try using the Playtex Sport! They are really comfortable and small!

I'd try the slender regular tampons if you can find them, they have the same absorption rate but are way more comfortable to wear. As to getting them in, you'll have to practice. Relax, try different positions, like putting one leg up on the tub or toliet. Or squatting. Good luck!

You just need to relax. When you a tense so are you muscles, this does not exclude the muscles of the vagina. Just relax, breath out and keep trying. Try the slim ones (I think Playtex makes them) with plastic applicators.

Don't worry, my sister went through a whole box before she figured it out.

Most likely it wont go in because your not relaxing your muscles. I know its easier said then done but really, you just have to relax, take a deep breath and open up down there, try propping one of your legs up and dont force, just relax and ease in!

tampons take practice.

you have to be able to put them in at the right angle inorder

for them to be comfortable. so give them another tryy .

aand about the pad situation . maybe you should see a doctor.

its hard the first or second time but its really not that hard

just push through the pain and it will be worth in for the next million periods you have.

it always is hard the first time.

dont worry

try stayfree ultra thin plus, they are very thin pads, when your cycle is heavy you still need to wear a liner or pad
