The discharge that is coming out: Is it thin, gray, white, sticky, and more than normal (BV)? Is it white, curdy, "cottage cheese-like" and possibly increased discharge (Yeast)? Is it green-yellow, frothy, sticky, increased discharge (Tricho)? Does it have bad odor, worse after sex, maybe itchy (BV)? Is it itching/burning (Yeast)? Is the discharge frothy, have a bad odor, have a hard time peeing, and itchy in your vulvar area (outside parts) - (Tricho)?
Is the ivory soap you are using is plain? if it is not, it could be irritating. Are your rinsing it out completely? If not, left over soap can irritate. Washing could also make things bad. You might want it to settle first and have your normal flora (the normal bacteria found there) to come back to protect you from the bad bacteria. Over-washing could be irritating as well.
