You can get yourself a good pair of shoes with arch support and heel support or you can go by yourself a pair of arch supports and put them in your shoes...or you can go see a food doctor who specializes in making custom made arch supports for your shoes...those should work.

Be sure to get GOOD shoes with good support in them. May cost a little extra but well worth the price if pain is less.

If you stand in one spot, you can get a mat to stand on. See if your work will let you have a chair to sit on at intervals.

When you get home, soak them in some epsom salts in warm water. Pamper them, lotion and if you've got someone else to rub/massage them. Also, if very sore in the mornings, may be you have heel spurs (i've had those.) Need to stretch achichles tendon and you can find some good exerices on the web. You can also buy a tennis ball or use a can of soup.. and roll that under your feet.

Also, if you can afford it, (or see if there is a school in your area that students do this -usually a lot less expensive) Get a massage (ask them to pay attention to feet and legs..or see if anyone does reflexology. Is heavenly when your feet are tired.

Good luck and I'll be thinking of you!

First soak them in warm water with Epsom Salt. Them after your done use some foot lotion to massage them. Start at the heel and work your way to your toes. Do this if you know tat your no going to get on your feet again so that they can recover. Plus having comfortable shoes will help ease the pain.

My b/f got me a foot massager spa, the kind that you fill with water and it bubbles up and you can put epsom salts in it, at least that's what I did. It works wonders! Ok it doesn't fix your entire pain immediately on the feet but after using it a while, and even the first time you soak your feet, you do feel a huge difference. I felt relief right away.

Buy new shoes frequently. A size larger than you normally wear & 1 size wider. Say you wear a 7B. Get an 8W. You will be suprized how much better your feet will tolerate the beating they are getting. Also talk to your dr. about antiinflammatories such as Aleve or Advil.

Soak them at night in a foot spa. You can buy a foot spa at any drug store or like a Walmart for about $15-$20. I sure you can find them on special now since it's Mother's Day on Sunday.

Other than that, invest in a really goof pair of sneakers (if you can wear them at work) and make sure to wear socks.

Put a gram of Potassiun permanganate in a tub of warm water, and keep your feet immersed in it for 15 minutes every night.

you should try to relax at home, ask someone to massage your legs and take warm foot baths... even little things help soothe the ache. if it's really bad, try taking aspirin
