I was wondering whether or not you could tell if your hymen was still intact? How far up is it, and also, is it possible for it to be partially intact, but still fully be broken during first time intercourse thanks! please any information would be quite helpful!

hymen is located on the opening of the vag. it has many shapes and can be fully intact to partially open to nonexistent even if the girl never had intercourse (or in other words never had any penetration into the vag.)

so if your question is mainly about the virginity then if there was no penetration the girl is a virgin, if there was penetration (with any object even a finger) she is not a virgin.

when a hymen is broken/or even first time of penetration sometimes there would be no bleeding to little bleeding to lots of bleeding, it all depends on how sensitive the area is, the more sensitive the more the bleeding... even if no hymen is present and there happens penetration for the first time, then there might be bleeding from vag. walls due to frist time friction.

girls are born with hymens, as she grows older it decreases in size to be completly not present after age 30 or 35 (adulthood) due to daily activities/sports/movement.

hope i helped explain a very cloudy area...
