I had my 2nd daughter September 4 ,2009. Bleed for the full 6 weeks, ending oct 15. I started back to the gym oct 16. Got a period oct 21, lasted until oct 26 and then again oct 31 started spotting which turned in to a period. Is this normal? I'm assuming not. Maybe I worked out too soon ?

its normal. your body has to go back to normal after having a baby. did it do it with your first child?

my body gets all messed up all the time. one time, i had my period for 50 out of the 52 weeks in a year. im not lying. it doesnt matter how much you get your period, as long as your doctor says your ok.

give them a call and ask about it. see what they say about the matter.

bleeding a couple of months after birth can be very irregular but nonetheless normal. Espeacially if you are on some sort of contraceptive such as the mini pill. If you are breastfeeding, this can also cause irregularities but breastfeeding commonly just delays your period or any bleeding. As long as you feel okay then there should be no problem. a regular period may not even occur for up to 6 months.

Actually, you shouldn't be working too soon after giving birth. Having irregular periods after giving birth is normal, it will take time before your period gets back to normal but shouldn't be that long.

Yes, it's normal. It may take months for it to return to your normal cycle.
